The World Is Yours--Freewrite Cyber-Post

Reflect on the song, "The World Is Yours" by Nas, (feat. Pete Rock). A student in the English 201 8-9, Thomas, shared this song and the CD, Illmatic, with me yesterday and I thought, on the eve of 9/11, this would be an appropriate meditation, one of hope, rather than despair.

WS

"It's yours!" --> [T La Rock]

[Chorus: Nas, Pete Rock]

[PR] Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
"It's yours!"
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?

I sip the Dom P, watchin Gandhi til I'm charged
Then writin in my book of rhymes, all the words pass the margin
To hold the mic I'm throbbin, mechanical movement
Understandable smooth shit that murderers move wit
The thief's theme, play me at night, they won't act right
The fiend of hip-hop has got me stuck like a crack pipe
The mind activation, react like I'm facin time like
'Pappy' Mason with pens I'm embracin
Wipe the sweat off my dome, spit the phlegm on the streets
Suede Timb's on my feets, makes my cypher, complete
Whether crusin in a six-cab, or Montero Jeep
I can't call it, the beats make me fallin asleep
I keep fallin, but never fallin six feet deep
I'm out for presidents to represent me (Say what?)
I'm out for presidents to represent me (Say what?)
I'm out for dead presidents to represent me

[Chorus: Nas, Pete Rock]

[PR] Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
[PR] Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
"It's yours!"
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?

To my man Ill Will, God bless your life
"It's yours!"
To my peoples throughout Queens, God bless your life
I trip we box up crazy bitches aimin guns in all my baby pictures
Beef with housin police, release scriptures that's maybe Hitler's
Yet I'm the mild, money gettin style, rollin foul
The versatile, honey stickin wild, golden child
Dwellin in the Rotten Apple, you get tackled
Or caught by the devil's lasso, shit is a hassle
There's no days, for broke days, we sell it, smoke pays
While all the old folks pray, to Je-sus' soakin they sins in trays
of holy water, odds against Nas are slaughter
Thinkin a word best describin my life, to name my daughter
My strength, my son, the star, will be my resurrection
Born in correction all the wrong shit I did, he'll lead a right direction
How ya livin large, a broker charge, cards are mediocre
You flippin coke or playin spit spades in strip poker

"It's yours!"

[Chorus: Nas, Pete Rock]

[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
[PR] Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
"It's yours!"
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
[Nas] Yo, the world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
"It's yours!"
[PR] Break it down

[Pete Rock cuts and scratches "It's yours!"]

I'm the young city bandit, hold myself down singlehanded
For murder raps, I kick my thoughts alone, get remanded
Born alone, die alone, no crew to keep my crown or throne
I'm deep by sound alone, caved inside in a thousand miles from home
I need a new nigga, for this black cloud to follow
Cause while it's over me it's too dark to see tomorrow
Trying to maintain, I flip, fill the clip to the tip
Picturin my peeps, now the income make my heartbeat skip
And I'm amped up, they locked the champ up, even my brain's in handcuffs
Headed for Indiana stabbin women like the Phantom
The crew is lampin big Willie style
Check the chip toothed smile, plus I profile wild
Stash through the flock wools, burnin dollars to light my stove
Walk the blocks wit a bop, checkin Danes plus the games
people play, bust the problems of the world today

"It's yours!"

[Chorus: Nas, Pete Rock]

[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
[PR] Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
"It's yours!"
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
[Nas] Yeah... the world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
"It's yours!"
Break it down

Yea aight?
To everybody in Queens, the foundation
"It's yours!"
The world is yours
To everybody uptown, yo, the world is yours
"It's yours!"
The world is yours
To everybody in Brooklyn
Y'all know the world is yours
"It's yours!"
The world is yours
Everbody in Mount Vernon, the world is yours
"It's yours!"
Long Island, the world is yours
"It's yours!"
Staten Island, yea the world is yours
"It's yours!"
South Bronx, the world is yours
"It's yours!"
Aight

[Pete Rock keeps cuttin and scratchin "It's yours!" to fade]

Reflection

The song The World Is Yours by Nas is a lyrical inspiration that influences many people. The repetitive chorus of the song questions, “Whose world is this?” and in response, the artist exclaims “It’s mine, it’s mine, and it’s mine.” The significant statement presents an acknowledgement to all human kind that the world is in our own hands. After the chorus, in the first body of the song, Nas gives the audience a sense of his experience and his daily routine. His demonstration shows his life and how he is in control of it as he does thing that he likes to do for himself.
Throughout the whole song, the line that has caught my eyes most was when Nas stated, “I'm out for presidents to represent me (Say what?).” What Nas is trying to explain is that he is seeking for a president to represent himself and his people, which refer to voting and how people have the privelige to vote for a president that can represent America as a whole. This relates to what is happening in today’s society. America has been battling between presidents due to racial discrimination; being that Barrack Obama is the first African American candidate that has a chance to win. This lyrical statement has occurred throughout our lifetime and continues today.
I believe that the song is trying to say that the world is ours as long as we take it under our own hands. Only we are able to control the world; our world. Nas uses his own opinions and experiences as an example to allow readers to see what he is saying when he means that the world is ours. The world is what you make it and no one has the power to take that away from us.

Song Reflection
The lyrics to this song are quite inspirational. It talks about society and how it is and how he feels about it. The main question to this song is “Whose world is this?” I think that is very interesting because I don’t really think the world belongs to just one person. I think it is just everyone’s because we are all part of it. “My strength, my son, the star, will be my resurrection. Born in correction all the wrong shit I did, he'll lead a right direction” is a line from the song that shows how people see life differently than others. And the fact that people’s opinion changes about the world as they experience the different parts to it.
This song uses the singer’s own experience or opinion towards the world. “Born alone, die alone, no crew to keep my crown or throne” shows how he feels that in the world people are always alone for the important parts of life. Being born and dieing are the happiest and saddest times of our lives. And the whole world will experience this. Throughout the song the chorus asks the question mentioned earlier and then there is another person answering the question for him and he replies “The world is yours.” I think that is pretty interesting why he would say the world is the other persons because it pretty much belongs to everyone. And then the guy who is being told that the world is his says that it is his.
I guess for the fact that these two people express their opinions. They feel like they are the only ones so they assume that the world is theirs people they are alone. It is similar to presidency. “I'm out for presidents to represent me” There are two candidates and they both think that the world is theirs because once they become in power they can make any change or difference in the world. The two candidates are fighting for the same power so they are both arguing that it is their world. Yet I think it is more of a rhetorical question because there is no official person that the world belongs to.

Song Reflection

The song “The world is yours” sung by Nas and Pete Rock, tells of how the people are in control. From my prospective, “the world” symbolizes life and the phrase “the world is yours” symbolizes the fact that we the people are responsible for our lives. Nas states that “I'm out for presidents to represent me” justifies that we are the ones responsible to vote, and if the candidate that we didn’t want gets picked it, is for our blame and it is our responsibility to elect a president that represents us. If we are caught in a bad situation, like getting caught for drug dealing, it’s our fault, if we spend a night or two in jail, it’s our fault. I think what this song is saying is that we drive our own lives; whatever happens to us is not the fault of our acquaintances, but ourselves.
In the environment that Nas explains, he describes it as a one man world “Born alone, die alone, no crew to keep my crown or throne” we cannot depend on other people to make our lives better, it’s our lives not theirs. Trust is very hard to find with other people, especially in Nas’s environment, its best to depend on only ourselves. The chorus of this song states “Whose world is this? The world is yours, the world is yours It's mine, it's mine, it's mine” The world belongs to us and only us, no one can take it from us. It’s our responsibility.

Freewrite about the song:
I feel that Nas did a good job for shouting out to the places that hip hop first started at the end of his song. In my opinion, Nas ended his song with a good ending. For some reason, the first verse of this song reminds me of a song called, "One Mic," that he recorded. People that are struggling in the world we live in today, have to handle their own way of recieving income to make sure that their families have roofs over their heads. All the mistakes that we have made in our past will always be there. All that we can do is mvoe on and live for a better tomorrow. The future is what lies ahead of us and what we have done in our past makes us who we are today.

Nas, “The World is Yours”
In the song by Nas,”The World is Your” he speaks about everyone claiming their place in the world. Not letting someone else tell you how to live your life but to control your own destiny. He lives the high life with the hot women, fancy cars and the most expensive liquor. He also absorbs himself in knowledge and then puts it on paper to share with his world. He’s addicted to the words in his hip hop world, it makes him feel like he’s high on a drug, but in reality he’s high on life. Everything in his world is not easy there are times when he’s scared but he keep moving, he wrote, “trying to maintain, I flip, fill the clip to the tip”. He was born alone and know that when he dies he again will be alone. He tell us and all of his other fellow rappers to enjoy our lives with all of it’s struggles, temptation and triumphs because it belongs to us with all of it’s ill’s and perks.

He sent a very positive shout out to people in Queens, New York
The chorus "the world is yours" tell listeners that in life you have choices you could either make it or brake it.
Nas says the phrase "I keep fallin, but never fallin six feet deep" to inform listeners that even if he fails he don’t faint, he progress to the higher level.
"Thinkin a word best describin my life, to name my daughter
My strength, my son, the star, will be my resurrection born in correction all the wrong shit I did, he'll lead a right direction"—informing that he has made wrong turns but his son will be a new resurrection meaning "new." Also since his life has meaning he wants to name his daughter after his way of living.

The overall message of the song "The world is yours" is to motivate people that there is a chance (generally speaking). Although there are up’s and down’s in life the world is still yours, only you as a person can achieve goals. Nas mentions that he is independent in life because he uses the phrase "hold myself down single-handed."Overall this song is self motivational.

In Nas’s song T.W.I.Y (The World Is Yours) I felt contempt and a sense of repeat in his lyrics. The song, released in 1994, explained to me how the world belonged to those who actually lived, thrived and felt it. At the same time coming from a family and being raised in a environment where the upliftment and betterment of black people I’ve heard this time and time again. Don’t get me wrong, I do believe that black people as a whole still have some uplifting to do after the effects of Jim Crow and 400+ years of slavery completely destroyed are ancestors mind and can’t do for self. The thing I want to say is that I already know of the struggle that appeals to people’s desire to separate themselves from an establishment that values money more then human lives.

The song “the world is yours” by Nas is basically saying that the world is everybody’s that lives in the world. We have to represent ourselves in this world and do what we have to do for we can say that the world is ours. The presidents don’t represent everyone and we have to stand up in the world and do what’s right for us, not what the government feel is right for us. Only we know what to do for us and can’t know body say differently. I feel like Nas was right on point when he said the president don’t represent me. We cant depend on other people to represent us because we all have different opinions. We cant rely on other people who feel how they feel to try and feel how we feel.

The world is yours"

Nas explains how he is scared and terrified every time he holds the “mic”. “Mechanical Movement” meaning he is taking his time and pacing himself. Nas says that thief’s live by a code and easy enough for the average minority can understand, and the only time when they go about their shady business is at night time. The addiction that NAS has for “hip hop” is like a person who is addicted to an addictive drug. The mind motivation of NAS comes to him such as; “PAPPY MASON” (who is Perry mason, a detective who is very good). NAS speaks of the struggles that he is overcoming and there is nobody that will stop him. He also speaks of not wanting his children by pointing guns at baby pictures. “The world is yours” to me is defined as; nobody can stop me, there are broad societies that exist with many different opportunities. He is out to get “DEAD PRESIDENTS” which means money and he wants to be represented by the number of how big his “money stack” is.

“The fiend of hip- hop has got me stuck like a crack pipe”, says the lyrical genius Nas in his song “The World Is Yours.” Dyson (in his book Holler If You Hear Me) described Nas as the Tupac of our time! His lyrics are full of tragedy and hope all in the same. He says things like, “Thinkin a word best describin my life, to name my daughter!” I think that he believes that through his daughter he can tell his story or through his seed his life is reflected. He also mentions the things he has been exposed to and his independence as an individual. As a woman that was raised on the west coast, I truly respect east coast rap, and I especially respect Nas for his unique and blunt lyrics. I do believe that he doesn’t get enough recognition for his brilliant mind!

When I listen and read the song by Nas “The world is yours” I think that he is talking directly to the Hip-Hop community letting the people know that the world is there’s. The reason I think this is because of the lyrics he uses like “To my people throughout queens” Queens is one of the cities where hip-hop was created. I think there’s a strong message he is trying to tell us I also think that it can inspirational to some people also Even though He talks of a lot of violence I think it is still a good song and I think people can get a lot from listening and reading it.

In the song the world is yours, Nas was saying that the world is always yours no matter what. He was saying that the world is yours because you could do whatever you want, that nobody could stop you. If you have like a big goal that you want to accomplish in your life, But you are afraid of not being able to pursue it because you think that you don’t have the power to accomplish it. Then you are wrong because everyone can accomplish anything they put their mind to, because there is nothing that could stop you. What Nas is doing is trying to tell people that the world is yours because you have the power and control of it and you choose what to do and what not to do.” There's no days, for broke days, we sell it, smoke pays” Nas in his song was also telling us a little bit about his life and how he controls his world, how the world is his. In this song by NAS “The world is yours” his whole life is wrapped up in the lyrics. To many people his words are inspiering. For example when he starts to talk about his son taking the right direction, different from his own. He say’s “My strength, my son, the star, will be my resurrection. Born in correction all the wrong shit I did, he'll lead a right direction.” His words are powerful, said with meaning. He is saying to his child he will have a better life, a different life. Not filled with hate, guns, or drugs; but with happiness, fearlessness, and hope for tomarrow, the world is his. The world around you and who you are is what you make of it. The world can hold you down at times but keep you head up and you can concor the world. What NAS has gone threw in his life speak to a lot of people, because they themselves have gone threw similar things. When he said “There's no days, for broke days, we sell it, smoke pays.” That’s his way of getting the money he needs to provide for not just himself but his family. Selling drugs is’nt the only way, but if you need the money that’s the fastest and eaisyist way to go. You have to have a dream first to make it happen. With out that you can not take a step forward or look at what you are and what you can become.

Nas states in his song that the world is yours. He is drinking while watching television and thinking of rhymes to write. The thief theme plays me at night and they won’t act right. The fiend of hip hop has got me stuck like a crack pipe.

Nas children will be his resurrection, because he is teaching them what he has gone through, and hoping that they would not have to struggle. He states that he was born in the correction center, so his life had started bad before he even gotten started.

“Whose world is this? It's yours! It's mine, it's mine, it's mine”

This song, to me, bluntly states that the world is simply what you make it. The song seems to state a lot of scenarios that people usually live out. We all don’t have to live or be that way but we do. Also the song says to me that we only think that certain people rule the world when in actuality there have to be other people allowing them to rule. People always talk about what is going on in the world and make it seem like there is nothing to do about it. Just like the government, people think that only the people who are actually apart of the government run things, when we all have to take responsibility for what is going on. The world is just as much yours as it is mine. People shouldn’t ever think that they have no control over whatever is going on around them. If everyone thought this way then everyone would feel equal.

It doesn't matter what kind of person you are just know that the world is in your hands and however you plan to go about things its on you.It was nice to see that he listed all the differnt place that hip hop came from. To me the places that he listed are places that tend to get judged because of how the area looks. No matter where you are from and what you do the world is yours. In the song "The World is Yours" by Nas featuring Pete Rocks, Nas is expressing about how he feels about the world with a helping hand of Pete Rocks. From the very beginning of the song, Nas claims what is his and he is saying the world is his. If you speak out and claim something it, naturally it will feel as if you own it. This song has a 1990's vibe, where everything just flows and wasn't about who had the hottest beats. It was more about who was the realest, because back then Rap was more political and spoke about what was going on in the world. Nas, is a very conscious rapper, not being literally afraid, but making sure that his lyrics contained a message inside to teach the people about history and what is going on in the world. When he says that " It's Our World" he is reminding us that our world was provided wit many resources all we have to do is go out and reach for it. No matter where you come from or who you are, the world is yours. Also, in the song, he gives a shout to where most of Hip-Hop originated and evolved from. Saying as if they are the creators of Hip-hop that the world belongs to them, referring the world to Hip-Hop.

Opinion:

The song “The World Is Yours” by Nas is a bit vague; I could not understand his style of writhing but I do know what he meant as I listen from the word that’s coming out of his own mouth. The repetitive question “who’s word is this?” follow up by an answer “it’s mine” got me to ask myself if [“Is he talking about his freedom?”]But it seems the statement represents more about all humankind than his own, that this world is really in our hands. As I read the first body of the song the line “Im out for presidents to represent me “ cough my attention to me it means his with a president that represent the people. Nas did a wonderful job shouting out in places where hip hop first started at the end of his song. At first his telling the audience that his the world is his but like I said it has another meaning to it like its not just his its for everyone the why he post a shout out in the end of his song from Queens, uptown, Brooklyn, Mount Vernon, Long Island, Staten Island to Bronx.

Reflection on the song
The song “The world is yours” by Naz, talks about how the world is full of violence and reflects things that many people influence. The message of this song,( for me...) Is that people had make this word like this, full of violence, murders and robbery. If we knew how to respect or knew how to treat each other, our world wouldn’t be facing these kind of things. In this song, Naz is expressing the things he is facing . we’re the ones that live in this world, and we should make a change, since this is our wold!.

From this song I get that the world is yours whoever you are. If your poor, wealthy, crack addicted got children with no daddy or no momma, the world is yours. If you sit and chill all day drink and smoke the worls is yours. The person represents there world thats why Nas states "Its mine its mine" Your world is all of what you make it. Nas mentions in the song that he wants presidents to represent him. He does not mean presidents that are alive but presidents that are dead and printed on money. He mentions pistols and gettin into it with housing police and just basically not caring about anything in life and what it has to offer. Its your world its how you make light of the world itself. My thought on this song is that live life to the fullest the world is out there for you to do so. So make the best of every thing that you have done and will do. I do think the worl is mine and I am living life to the fullest.

Really make listeners think and listen to it again, and motivates us, and tells us that its all
about us in this world and the world is ours. simbolizes the fact that we are responsible for
everything in out lives. “Born alone, die alone, no crew to keep my crown or throne”
describes that theres no one that is going to help us thru our life, we cannot trust anyone,
life is a journey that we have to go on alone without anyones help.
Learn from your mistake and teach your next generation not to make the same mistakes,
Make a living for your own and for your family, be proud of what we are doing, All that we
can do is move on and live for a better tomorrow,

The World is Yours :By Nas

I felt that Nas when writing this song was watching Gandi and dinking some Don P and that gave him some inspiration to pick up a pin and let his lyrical emotions overflow his note book thinking about the world. He loves the hip-hop culture and style that many people can feel and understand. His main objective is to make money so that people can see his wealth. Describing the people that live throughout his city young to old and how they live. Even though he had made mistakes in his past his son will lean form them and make them right in the future. Just trying to live and do the right things or make the right decisions. At the end he will make it, being able to burn a bill and use it to light his stove up. The world is yours, it is what you make of it and the world is mine in my eyes being what I make of it.

My thinking that this song is very good. When we make or post question “Whose world is this?”, we will get a lot of answer, but for sure it not, that world belong only one person or man. The song “Whose world is this?” by Nas is telling how the people are in control.
For me, the sentences “Born alone, die alone, no crew to keep my crown or throne” telling us how people are alone for serious some part of like. Living and dieing is normal staff for our lives. For my opinion, ended of this song are good.

In the song The World Is Yours by rapper Nas spoke of values that had great meaning to him. It was as if his lyrics spoke that everybody controls their own world. Every person has the ability to control their mind no matter what may be gong on around them. He speaks of falling asleep but never falling so far that he ends up dieing. I thought he meant that everybody has the chance to try again, or in his mind that he could fall but rise again. He calls out names of cities uplifting his people where they need to hear the message going out to them. Life may take you many places but you control your world because everybody makes choices.

“The World Is Yours” shows the sad mood of people to this world. The title of this song seems that people can control the whole world, but in fact, it is not. The world decides everything and people have a few hopes in this world. They have no money, no health, and no home. The guide of this world is who rich; they go in front of everyone. These people could be the leader of others, and the lower class, they must follow the riches. No body in leadership can represent the mind of the lower class. A few of heroes come from the lower class can be successful to tell the world what they want. Those of them lived in war time, but now, people also need this kind of people. People need somebody to hear them, but who can do it? Which leader can really hear people? No body can be 100 percents perfect, even the presidents. They can not hear everybody’s voice. This is the world, some bodies their best to help people, but there are some people that no body can help. Because the way to hear them is also a problem, people give their hopeless smile to this world, but who can understand what meaning of their smile?

NAS Song( The World Is Yours) :

As I read the lyrics:

(The fiend of hip-hop has got me stuck like a crack pipe) I feel that NAS is speaking of his addiction to Hip hop how it will consume you just like any addictive drug out there how you can get lost in your own world in your own thoughts it can bring you up like some drugs but then it can also destroy you like some of the Hip hop artist that get caught up doing dirt and are not using hip hop to voice a message to their listeners on a positive level..(I'm out for presidents to represent me (Say what?) Out for a president that will do right for everyone not just for the Rich but will do right by everyone and will build a better nation since the one we have now is F*8Ked, just like in Tupacs song (we got money for wars but can't feed the poor) we need a president that is willing to help everyone and help people that are in poverty. When he says he's out for dead presidents to represent me Meaning money because in this world it's all about the money and if you don't have it your nothing. He speaks of the things people do to make money even if it's not the right way (selling drugs) is the only way some people can make a living because with the economy we have it's hard for many young black men or minorities to get a good paying job and that's the only way for some people to make a living even though it's not the right way. The world is yours, it is our world and we have the power to make it a better place getting people to vote making changes we have the right to choose who we want to represent US and if we want to make changes we need to step up our game and do whats right if we want to make it a better place we hold our destiny in our hands and alot of what is going on is our own fault as a nation because no one wants to vote but they want to speak on how our president is F*&ked well if we all took the time to vote and do research on the people running to become president we would have someone that will do right by us, and to really do reserach on the person we elect to be in office they are the ones that are going to represent us and if we want to make a change it's US that have to do it whether it's in our everyday lives or how we want our nation ran the world is ours to make that change...I found this song very inspriational and real.

"the world is you"

When it says "The World is Your", I feel like the world belongs to us the human being. Not just the White people, not just the African American people and not Asian people. Although, in the past people were being selfish trying to
take over the world for they're self. No matter the struggles, the pain , the sorrow, and etc. we're still in the same world, same planet. so, Nas is talking about the struggle in the streets, but in the end we're still in the same world, we're still share one planet. this is my point of view on this lyric.

Nas "The world is yours"

The song The world is yours by Nas explains how he is showing love to New York. He said that god bless all the people in new york and he just said little metphores of analogy how he wants show love to his home town. In my opinion nas lyrically is the best writer he could have better beats but he has a mind of is own and he shows this in the song.

“I'm out for a president that represents me”, Makes me think about Obama and how he is representing for the people, not just one race but for every race.

~There's no day for broke days, smoke pays. My boyfriend always tells me we need to find some paper (money) “smoke pays”. You sale weed it pays the bills!

The world is your is a cool song, but when you think about it the world is not your thanks to the government. You can only do as much as the government allows you to.

I don't really care for nas,It's like he is in between positive rap and negative. However there are some parts in his song where i feel where he is coming from.

"theres no days for broke days".

you can't afford to be broke in the world today, yhou should be doing everything in your power to get money.

"No crew to keep my crown or throne"

There are no true people, family, friends, you can count on to hold you down, everybody is down for themselves.

The world is yours

Nas is and always has been a brilliant and very lyrical rapper and basically everything that he says is a message but people just have to find out what these messages are. So him and Tupac have some similarities. This is another song thats like his others but he says that the world is yours or the world is mine. I think he is saying that we control the world and how it turns out no matter if it is good or bad. We choose the right to have police and murders going on and we choose to preserve land. The world as it is right now is a result of how we maintained it and how we control. People complaining today but those people should try and do something about the situations that we face today. Everyone can change the world. Even just one person can change the world no matter how big there reaction is to the situation. He is right. The world is ours. We live in it. Our actions reflect the world whether it is by a little or a lot. For instance, global warming is a major issue that we are currently facing. And it is up to all of us to change the world and make it better. Because like he said, the world is yours.
