http://news.yahoo.com/astronaut-in-space-during-attacks-shares-unique-footage-of-9-11.html is an amazing article of astronaut that was in space during the “terrorist attack” on September 11, 2001. Being the only American not on the planet, Frank Culbertson was really impacted by these attacks because he felt like he wasn’t able do anything to help his country in a desperate need of help. He was stuck in outer space spectating while this terrible event was taking place and this is what he said "It's difficult to describe how it feels to be the only American completely off the planet at a time such as this. The feeling that I should be there with all of you, dealing with this, helping in some way, is overwhelming” really made me respect Frank as an individual. The fact that he would rather be on the ground to experience it with all of his country is what should makes a nation stronger. It shows me once you put your love and trust into something so important that you will be there for it in the worst times. I can understand how he was feeling inside, the thought of being able to do nothing is what made Frank Culbertson realize was the most important decision to make. Him writing a letter to the public was i think that as important actually being there because that decision was a form of love toward the nation is a unexplainable manner. i think a lot of people may have had a different mindset while 911 was occurring, making a video and sharing his thoughts while the nation was down is an accomplishment in itself to me. i think This experience has changed his mindset about a lot of different things and really influenced me to do something positive for this nation.

Preachers, Psychologists, politicians and others say it's a day Americans will never forget. That day changed everyone’s feeling about being safe and being a terrorist free country. That morning when the terrorist hijacked four commercial passenger airplanes, two of them crashes into the world trade center’s twin towers in New York City killing more than 2, 7000 people are side the building. Residents of Topeka Adam Snook and Josh Gomez said “"We just sat there," Josh added "We were too young to grasp what was going on.". 10 years later Josh said "It opened my eyes up — that anything can happen to anybody at any place," everyone’s life alter the attack made everyone appreciate them self’s and there country because they don’t know when an attack like this can happen after all they were just going to work on a regular day. Swain had this to tell the news "If they can get a fake passport, what else can they do?” From that day forward everyone made an effort to keep America safe and tighten up the security in airports.

While reading this interesting article titled, "9/11 anniversary: Muslim protesters burn US flag outside embassy in London" really had me thinking how safe is us Americans in the US? Here we are remembering and pondering on a tragic event yet again while there is anti-Americans protesting in London hateful, racist things to the US. It is not fair that some of us innocent Americans have to live with such fear on what can possibly happen in the future regarding another terrorist attack because our ignorant country is not creating peace but, but making things worst for innocent people and our country! I mean for crying out loud we are still in war! I bet right this second many Muslims, or terrorists are planning the next attack because one, the US is still in their land killing innocent people. From my perspective, I don't blame anyone! Especially the Muslims, I believe the US has done way more damage to the Muslim land and people, more than what the Muslims did to us Americans! It is time to throw this beef in the trash and focus on providing a truthful future for the upcoming generation. Prior to that, I am highly upset with Mr. Obama! Because what is he doing to promote peace!! Nothing at all!! If there is no peace or covenant between the US, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Muslims, we are going to continually go in circles and every year we'll find ourselves suck in remembering such a horrifying event that took place. In addition, trying to solve a puzzle that will not get solved if only hatred is being exchanged between the countries!! Overall, this beef crap, is kid stuff taken to a national level! US, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Muslims need to "Grow Up" and look at the bigger picture! Honestly, I'm tired of hearing what happen about 9/11 can we ever move forward from this? And receive the power to overcome such a tragic event!

This day marks the ten years passed on that faithful event forever change the American minds, life, and liberty. What to be expect of a typical work day in New York at the Twins Towers at the World Trade Center and not knowing that two of the four planes hijack by terrorist has crash into the buildings. Life as we know it stood there in helplessness, despair, shock, angry, and with hope that loves could have been found through the rubble and the hazy smoke of debris. Not far away the other two planes crash into a section of the Pentagon and finally in Shanksville, Pennsylvania where hostages were about to crash the plane before heading it to Washington D.C. The happy ending if there is any is that Osama bin Laden was located and killed and also his number two. But what does that do for those families that lost loved ones on that Tuesday morning. Will it ever bring closure and peace after President Obama spoke in Kennedy Center in Washington. Ten years has passed and the children have grown up into young adults entering college, going to prom and getting their first taste of driving. Where to those lost ones can see the glimmer of eagerness in their children when they venture out into adulthood. Maybe in heaven or the memorial statues of all their deceased names, one by one being read out loud and for a moment of silence that seem to be a eternity, then maybe life goes on and maybe for that split second those loves ones feel that the ones that died that day had come down from the heavens and hug and to laugh with them once again.
